An ISO project team was formed within the company in 1998. The ISO9001 certification was obtained after a year’s hard work, and without the assistance of external consultants. It is a result arrived at through a fundamental revision of the company’s quality system. On top of this, the ISO14001 certification was obtained for the Ibarakii plant in October 2005. |

The first Saturday is at Kikuwa’s Quality Reporting Conference day in every month. The results of month-long improvements and further challenges are brought to the table and heavily debated in line with the company policy of ‘Creating reliable products from the customer’s standpoint.’ |
